Hi, my name is Joy.

I am so glad you found your way here. I am a birth, fresh 48, and lifestyle newborn photographer based in central Kentucky. As a mom of two little boys, I have fallen in love with remembering. I love to sit and look through old images and videos of our first positive pregnancy tests, the way they rolled inside my belly, their little hand dimples, the newborn gas grins, their first steps, and so much more. I am so grateful for the ability to remember.

Photography, especially in the first few weeks, is a beautiful gift that takes us right back to that moment. I want you to remember the little details as time passes; to look back and say, "Oh my. I can't even remember them being this small. Look at her tiny, wrinkly feet! Their face has changed so much!" This is why I have fallen in love with photographing baby entering the world and the first few hours after they're here. I am humbly welcomed into your family for one of the most intimate events of your lives. When you recall the day that your child was born, I want you to remember the strength, determination, love, and awe found in that vulnerable space. You only meet your child once, and I want you to remember that feeling for the rest of your life.
